今日はイギリスの市民権について話が聞けるというので、ヴィクトリア駅まで行ってきました。

実際、イギリス人自体の雇用が社会問題になっているというのだから、日本人の私が市民権の獲得なんて次元の違う話ですが、その国のことを知れる絶好のチャンスという訳で、行ってきました。

講義自体、もちろん有意義なのですが、その帰りに路上マーケットをぷらぷら。

ロンドンには多くの路上マーケットがあり、この前訪れたカムデンマーケットなどもマーケットの一つですが、もっと小規模な庶民派マーケットも数多くあり、みていると本当に飽きないです。

そこで、スロベニア出身の方が出しているマーケットでお買い物。

「KARANTANIA　DELI」と書かれています。

あれこれ試食させてもらいました。

チョコレートドリンク（アルコール入り）やフルーツケーキ（ポピーシード入り）やチョコレートサラミなど。。

さんざん迷った末、チョコレートサラミをチョイス。

チョコレートサラミ？？？

チョコレートでサラミ？？？

そうそう、これがめちゃウマ(´ε｀)

チョコレートの中に色々な種類のドライフルーツが入っているんですが、これがくどくなくて、あ～、ウマイという感じ。

結局、直感だけで生きている人間なので、これにしました。

マーケットって見ているだけで楽しいのですが、やっぱり購入するとなると普段の私は萎縮しちゃいます。

でも、なんで今回は行けたかというと、イギリスの市民権の講義で隣に座ったハンガリー出身のガボルさんが駅まで行くというので、一緒に帰ってたからなんですよね(^-^;

ビクトリア駅から徒歩２～３分のStratton grand　Market内です。

ちなみにそのガボルさんがブログを見てくれると言うので、ついでに英語バージョンも。。。

私の英語はがっかりな英語だから、友よ、間違いに気付いたら、教えてください。

I went to Victoria today to listen to a lecture of "Life in the UK with citizenship."

I’m a japanese, so it’s too difficult to get the UK citizenship, but it’s useful for me to know about the UK.

The lecture itself was very interesting.

After that, I dropped in the market called Stratton grand.

As you know, there’s lots kinds of market in London, such as the Camden Market I went to last week.

The Camden Market is much wider than Stratton grand market.

But I better like the market which is for the people who live around there.

And Stratton grand market is sort of this.

I stopped to buy at a shop which is managed the person from Slovenia.

The shop owner gave me some samples.

Chocolate drink with alcohol, fruit cake with poppy seed, and chocolate salami.

Nnnn,,, chocolate salami???

Yes, tastes great.(´ε｀)

There’re various kinds of dry fruits inside, and the taste is genuine, and flavourful.

After all, I selected this because I’m easy to believe my first impression.

I usually like to look around a market, but when I buy something, I always shrink.

In this time, I could get the courage because I followed Gabor from Republic of Hungary who sit next to me at the lecture buying some cakes.

And we went to the station together.

Before leaving, I asked the owner to take a picture, and he said ‘Yes’.

Chocolate salami on Valentine day!!

The shop is a couple of walk from Victoria station.

It’s inside the Stratton grand　Market.

I tried this blog in English as well because Gabor may see this.

But I’m disappointed my English as usual, so feel free to say to me if you find some mistakes.
