日本にいた頃は、大の焼肉好き。

完全に肉食でした。

ＯＬ時代は、週に５日焼肉を食べて、仕事に支障をきたした事も今では懐かしい思い出です。

で、ロンドンではどうかというと。。。

一般的には、肉はご遠慮したい。

基本はステーキでしょうが、日本の肉に慣れている私にとって、外国の肉はデカイ・カタイ・オモイ。

という訳で、それほど好きではありません。

けれど、やっぱり焼肉は食べたい。日本の肉と遜色ないからということで、今回はチャリングクロスの程近く「ＮＡＲＡ」へ。

「なら」といいつつ、日本の奈良というよりは韓国料理ですが、見たところ寿司も出すらしい。

店員さんもどうやら韓国出身の人が多いような。

結論的には、肉いいですね！

たぶん先のブログで書いたように外国の食材に輸入制限がかかっているようなので、肉はたぶんイギリスの一般的な肉を使っているのではないかと思いますが、よく調理されていてやわらかい。

客層はアジアの人が多いので、一瞬日本に帰ってきたのではないかと錯覚するような雰囲気です。

コストは２人で５０ポンド位です（飲み物込み）。

I love BBQ, so I often go to the restaurants that serve BBQ in Japan.

When I worked as a company employee, I went to BBQ restaurants fifth a week, and I was struggling how to get rid of garlic smell during the working hours.

Sort of Nostalgia…

And then in London,

Generally I hesitate to eat the meat.

I think the steak is common food in European country, but its steak is too heavy, big, and hard for me to eat…

The Japanese meat is much tenderer than the UK meat.

So now in London, I don’t like meat too much.

But sometime I eager to eat BBQ, then I went to "NARA" near Charing Cross.

Because I hear that it’s comparable to the Japanese meat.

The shop name "NARA" is a familiar name of Japanese city, but the restaurant looks a Korean restaurant, but they serve sushi as well.

It seems shop assistants are also from Korea…

In fact, it’s pretty good.

Meats are juicy and tender.

It seems to be difficult to import foreign groceries in the UK as I wrote about that in a former blog post, so I think they use

a

common

meat

of the UK, but perfectly cooked!!

Most customers are Asian, so that I seemed like coming back to Japan while I was in the restaurant.

Our bill was ￡50 for 2 people including in alcohols.
